Our mission at Lusher Charter School is to provide a developmentally appropriate learning environment in which high academics, comprehensive arts education, and the celebration of individuality and diversity enable each child to achieve as a learner, a person, and a valuable member of our society.
Our Project Pride values are kindness, respect, hard work and responsibility.
Criteria:
On February 17, 2022, the Renaming Committee voted on the parameters below to guide the new name selection process.
The new program name shall:
1. be a concept, theme, or other name that represents the school’s mission/values
2. not be named for a person, living or dead.
3. not focus on the arts so that the name is distinctive from NOCCA (New Orleans Center for Creative Arts).
