The Willow School looks forward to welcoming your student to campus to complete the admissions assessment. All applicants to grades K-12 complete the assessment in person at The Willow School on one of our school campuses. Students will be assigned an assessment date, time, and location after completing the Supplemental Admission Form (SAF). The Willow School reserves the right to remove, move, or add additional assessment dates if needed based on capacity.

Assessment dates for each grade level become available in the Supplemental Admission Form (SAF) on a rolling basis throughout the Main Round.

Students receive accommodations during school testing for a variety of reasons, primarily to ensure that they have an equal opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and abilities. These accommodations are typically provided to students with documented disabilities or special needs, as mandated by laws like the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Accommodation requests and supporting documentation must be received by 11:59pm on the deadline noted for each assessment date in the tables on this page. Documents will not be accepted after these deadlines. Please contact the admissions team if you have questions or need help.

If the applicant is unable to attend on their scheduled date, the student may make up the assessment unless they are scheduled for the final testing weekend. Students who miss the assessment will not be automatically rescheduled. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to notify the admissions team about the need for a makeup assessment as soon as possible ahead of or following the missed assessment date. Applicants who cancel or reschedule their assessment less than one week from the test may only reschedule one time. Failure to notify the school will result in forfeiture of the assessment make-up opportunity. Missed assessments can NOT be made up if the assessment date missed is on the final testing weekend.

If your child is sick or you suspect they may be sick, please reschedule their assessment (unless it's the last date available). If the child begins the assessment but is unable to complete it and does not receive a score, the child will not be considered for admission in that round.

In each assessment round, there is a deadline to schedule for the final assessment date. Requests to complete the assessment on the last assessment option made after 11:59pm on this deadline cannot be accommodated. For the Main Round, all assessments must be scheduled by 11:59pm on Monday, January 25, 2027.

Kindergarten applicants are assessed individually at the Lower School campus. Assessments take place on Saturdays. Families indicate their preferred assessment date through the Supplemental Admission Form (SAF). After submitting the SAF and the required birth certificate, families are assigned a date to test and sign up for a 30-minute assessment appointment at a convenient time on that date. Morning and afternoon testing appointments are available.

Applicants to grades 1-4 are assessed in a group setting at the Lower School campus. Families indicate their preferred assessment date through the Supplemental Admission Form (SAF). Each child’s assessment date and time is confirmed via email.

Applicants to grades 5-12 are assessed in a group setting at the High School campus. Families indicate their preferred assessment date through the Supplemental Admission Form (SAF). Each child’s assessment date and time is confirmed via email.
