The Willow High School

Congratulations to The Willow School's high school tennis teams for their outstanding performance in the LHSAA Division II State Tennis Tournament. The girls won their 3rd straight team championship and finished with nearly twice as many points as the state runner-up.  Congrats to senior My-Anh Holmes for winning her 4th singles state championship in a row! My-Linh Holmes was a finalist in singles for the 2nd straight season. Doubles players Kate Bilbro and Abby Hunter were state semifinalists for the 3rd straight season. Usha Ramdall and Cecilia Pizzolatto reached the quarterfinal round. Ramdall has reached the state quarterfinals in each of the previous 5 seasons and has played in 2 state championships in doubles. Conor Moore, Finn McGuire, and Issac Palmer made the 2nd round of this year’s tournament. Marigny Gill, Natalie Hennessey, Booker Henry, and Charles Christiansen were state qualifiers.
