The Willow Lower School

A huge thank you and congratulations to Willow Lower School students, families, and community for raising $19,291 for our annual Blood Cancer United (formally Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) fundraiser! This is the second year that we are the #1 fundraising school in the gulf region, including Texas, and this year we are the #4 top fundraising school in the nation! This is a near and dear cause for so many of us. Many of you unfortunately know someone, whether it be family, friends, or a co-worker who has fought courageously against a type of blood cancer. And on a school-wide, personal note, we have current and past students who have fought a form of blood cancer. The money we raised goes to clinical and scientific research as well as directly to patient support and education.
