Joining a new school staff can sometimes be a stressful experience. At the Williams Campus we have developed a three-tiered “belonging formula” for new teachers. This program is designed to provide support and guidance to our newest recruits. New staff will be introduced to our policies, procedures, and instructional programs. They will also be provided opportunities to grow as an educator by collaborating with a mentor teacher, current faculty members, administrators, and other new teachers throughout the year.
Our new program is up and running. On August 9th the new staff participated in an orientation. Our assistant principals Linda Clogher and Janine Murry introduced them to everything that makes the Williams Campus special. Next, they met their Mentors! On August 25th the new teachers learned all about the Arts at The Willow School from some of our experts!
