Willow Middle School is collecting nonperishable food items to donate to Second Harvest Food Bank to help families in need throughout South Louisiana. We will collect donations during Morning Meeting through Jan. 26. Our goal is to collect 750 pounds of food. One can of food is equal to approximately 1 pound. If we work together, we can reach this goal! For safety reasons, Second Harvest asks that the donated items are in non-glass containers. Please also consider nutritional food items that are low in sodium/salt and sugar.
