Our 5th-grade students recently participated in NaNoWriMo during their ELA classes. National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo, is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization that promotes creative writing around the world. We are thrilled that our 5th graders participated in this program and wrote their own novels!
Before the winter break, the students in Ms. Patterson's classes held events to celebrate their achievements as novelists. During the events, the students read their novels to their classmates and shared feedback on each other's novels. Bravo to our 5th Grade writers!
