The Willow Middle School

To celebrate the life of Dr. King, our Art Club held a Draw-A-Thon.  A Draw-a-Thon is when students work together to create community artwork.  To fundraise for supplies for the Draw-a-Thon, the Art Club held a bake sale in which they raised nearly $300.  It was wonderful to see our student body supporting their efforts. The theme was "Better Together."  Students created amazing artwork focused on prompts including "What does peace look like" and "How can you change the world."  Next, our Art Club will create a culminating display of all of the artwork from the Draw-a-Thon.
