black history Month Assembly

We had an amazing Black History Month assembly on Friday, March 1, 2024. The assembly was a beautiful celebration of African Americans in the Arts. During the assembly, students performed poems they wrote during Creative Writing. Their poems highlighted the achievements of many African Americans throughout our history. Many students also showcased dances from influential African American artists. Representatives from the Black History Club announced each of the performances. They provided historical information to the audience to foster the student body's understanding of the art forms.

Thank you to Ms. Thierry, Ms. Reed, and Ms. Teamer for organizing and planning this wonderful event.
