This week's NORD Girls Athlete of the Week is Julia Peltz, an 11-year-old outside hitter for McCue Eagles. In a hard-fought battle against Lyons Center Lions in the senior division, Julia stood out with her precise passing abilities. She also had 3 kills and 6 aces. Julia's ability to take feedback from her coaches and take accountability for her actions makes her a standout on the court. She is a 6th grade student at Willow Middle School, and her favorite subject is Science. Her hobbies are volleyball, reading and art. Julia is quickly becoming a leader on the team.
