The Willow School is leading a food drive to help the residents affected by the deadly tornadoes that hit Rolling Fork and Silver City, MS on March 24. The poverty rate in these areas is more than 33%, which is nearly three times greater than the poverty rate for the entire U.S. 

Collection boxes are located near the front office at all Willow School sites. The drive ends at the end of the school day on Friday, April 28. Please come to school tomorrow and/or Friday with one or more of the in-demand items listed below:

• Canned Vegetables, Beans and Fruits
• Canned Fish and Meat: Tuna, Chicken, Ham, etc.
• Household Items:  Paper Products, Personal Hygiene, Cleaning Supplies, Baby Supplies, Laundry Supplies)
• Cereal and Breakfast Foods
• Peanut Butter
• Boxed and  Canned Meals:  Soup, Spaghettio's, Mac & Cheese, Hamburger Helper, Tuna  Helper, etc.)
• Powdered, Canned or Shelf-Stable Milk
• Juice ... shelf-stable plastic bottles or juice boxes
