The Willow School New Orleans

Ms. Danette Thierry is our middle school teacher of the year! New Schools for New Orleans invited her and other Teacher-of-the-Year awardees from around the city to ride in the Sugar Bowl parade and attend the game. At the game, the awardees had the honor of holding the American flag on the field during the singing of the National Anthem, received a "shout-out" during the game telecast, and were seated in a suite. It was truly an unforgettable experience for Ms. Thierry!
