The Willow School New Orleans

Willow High School Coach Lorenza Winn was named the Times-Picayune Outdoor Track and Field Coach of the Year! With only one senior on the team, Coach Winn led the Willow girls to an incredible victory at the LHSAA Women’s 4A Outdoor Track and Field State Championship. Emma Aldana Huelga was also honored by the Times-Picayune as the All-Metro Girls Outdoor Track Runner of the Year. As just a 7th grader, Aldana Huelga became a three-event state champion, winning the 1600m, 800m, and 3200m races to help the Lions secure the state championship title.
