The Willow School New Orleans

Jack Landry, Willow High School 10th grader, won the New Orleans Youth Chess Grand Prix Final this weekend.  This was a culminating chess tournament that had an invitational section for the top players from tournaments played this year.  Based on his performance over the year, Jack qualified for the championship invitational, competing against the top youth chess players in the city, and won first place with a perfect 4.0 points.  Congratulations!
