We are thrilled to celebrate Ms. Marike Svoboda, who has been selected as the 2026 Louisiana Science Teachers Association (LSTA) Outstanding Middle School Science Teacher of the Year! This prestigious recognition honors Ms. Svoboda’s dedication to science education, her commitment to her students, and the impact she makes in the classroom each day. As part of this honor, Ms. Svoboda will receive a $500 cash award and a plaque, and will be recognized at the LSTA awards ceremony on Nov. 12. Ms. Svoboda is a Willow 7th grade science teacher and our Science Department Chair. We are so proud to have Ms. Svoboda representing Willow Middle School and grateful for all she brings to our students and school community. Congratulations, Ms. Svoboda, on this well-deserved recognition!
