To volunteer at school and on field trips, the school must have a current background check on file. Background checks are good for one calendar year. Orleans Parish residents may obtain your record at the police department located at 715 S. Broad St. It is an easy process that will take 15 mins and cost $5 cash. If you live outside of Orleans Parish, please visit that parish police department. Once done, please bring the original document (copies are not accepted) to the school office to be kept on file.
