
Chris Clarkson, local author of the young adult novel, "That Summer Night on Frenchmen Street" , visited the HS Library this week. Clarkson discussed his writing process and answered student questions about editing, character development, and publishing. Copies of his book will be available for purchase at the High School Book Fair next week.

Attention Juniors!
The Coolidge Scholarship is a full-ride, four- year, merit scholarship that recipients may use for undergraduate study at any accredited college or university in the United States. Any high school junior who plans to enroll in college in the fall of 2026 and is an American citizen or legal permanent resident is eligible to apply. Winners may use the scholarship to pursue any academic major. The scholarship requires reading assignments and essays. Therefore students are encouraged to begin the application early.
