Ms. Neibart's kindergarten class studied bugs for their Arts Happening project. Those bugs are on display in our butterfly garden.
The Willow Class of 2023 were the special guests at the Lower School Morning Meeting today. We celebrated them with blue and gold spirit, special graduation hats made by the kindergarteners, and, of course, the singing of "Learning the Willow Way," led by Mr. Barrau. We all wish them well as they officially graduate next week!

Join us for the Lower School Arts Happening this afternoon, 4-6pm. Dismissal for grades K-4 is at 2pm (with no aftercare) so our staff can prepare. See you soon!
During today's severe weather, Willow Lower School gates and exterior doors will be propped open, with staff stationed at the doors to dismiss students at afternoon carpool. Staff will not approach vehicles during severe weather. Please park and escort children from the building. As this is a safety issue, consideration will be given as to the allowance of extra time for dismissal.

Willow School senior, William Xi, has been selected by 826 New Orleans as a "Pizza Poet Laureate." William's contest entry, "Beginning," was selected and will be featured on pizza boxes throughout New Orleans today, on Pizza Poetry Day. We would love for as many families and staff as possible to go out and purchase pizza at a participating pizzeria and support our Willow School poet on this day.
