Support our student athletes by signing up to work a shift at the concession stand or be a part of the Chain Crew. Concessions Shifts are two-hour increments and include set-up, taking orders, break down. A concessions manager will be in charge and helping out for each event. Admission to the game is covered for anyone working concessions. Chain Crews work the entirety of the game (standing and moving up and down the field to mark downs) and should be here at least 30 minutes prior. Admission to the game is covered for anyone working Chain Crew and you can get 1 free drink at half time. If you have any questions, please email boosters@willowschoolnola.org

Kindergarten recently celebrated a unit on Community Helpers with some very special guest speakers. We met a doctor, nurse, coach/teacher, police officers, mail carrier, fire fighter, and a construction worker. Thank you to all the family members who took time out of their day to share how they help our community!

Ms. Mitchell checked in with Ms. Muhammed's kindergarten Koala class for Thankful Thursday. Some things they were thankful for include their teachers, families, video games, everything, water, homes, and BTS.

A cardiologist, neurologist, pilot, veterinarian and builder visited the kindergarten elephants and busy bees on Community Helper Day!!

Calling all artistic/crafty parents! Let's make a piece of art for each grade to auction off at the Soiree on Oct. 28. These artworks incorporate a mark or effort of each child in the grade (at the Williams Campus). It's a fun way to be involved in the classroom (or on the playground). (If you aren't the artistic type, you can still help with execution.) Please contact Emily Palit at emilypalit@gmail.com or 504-621-3853 if you want to help out with your child's grade.

Ms. Mitchell checked in with Ms. Fitzpatrick's first graders on Thankful Thursday. Some things they were thankful for were brothers and sisters, teachers, Roblox, video games, air conditioning, everything, and a wonderful community. So grateful!

Parents/Guardians of students in grades 3 and 4, we look forward to seeing you at tonight's Back to School Night, beginning at 6pm. You may want to allow extra travel time, as parking in the surrounding neighborhood is often tight. Please be considerate of our neighbors--do not block driveways or park close to curbs. Thank you!
