Our softball team ended their regular season with a win to finish 4-2. They will play on Wednesday in the first round of playoffs. Go Lions!

This weekend, middle school students volunteered to help the Williams campus with their production of The Rainbow Fish. They collected tickets and handed out programs. We are thrilled to see our students supporting each other!

Shakespeare! Students in Mr. Ary's ELA class recited Shakespeare's Sonnet 18 in class last week. This week, some students practiced reciting it together for the entire class to enjoy.

Ms. Thierry's 6th-grade homeroom class won a pizza party on Thursday provided by New Schools for New Orleans. New Schools for New Orleans held a citywide contest for teachers to submit photographs of their door decorations celebrating Black History Month. Ms. Thierry's class won the contest! New Schools for New Orleans provided the students with a pizza party. Thank you to New Schools for New Orleans for the wonderful lunch!

Our 6th and 7th grade Creative Writing students had a special guest speaker today- Ms. Laine from the Nature Nerds with Laine podcast. She discussed with the students how to write, edit, and produce podcasts.
