
Students in Ms. Patterson's and Ms. Lett's ELA classes read informational texts. Through their reading, they learned about plants and the nutrients plants need. As a special part of their learning, they planted seeds together.

Students in Ms. Thierry's 6th grade Social Studies classes recently created cuneiform tablets!




During Friday's advisory, all of our middle school students worked with their classmates to create Word Art about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We love their designs and the words the students used to describe Dr. King.

We are hosting a bake sale after school on Thursday, Jan. 11, to raise money for an art club-sponsored draw-a-thon event as part of our Heart and Soul week events next week in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Donations of baked goods will be accepted and much appreciated. You may send items to school with your students or drop them off in the front office.


Fun Run is Feb 1! We are excited to announce that this year we are expanding Fun Run to also include middle school! Look for more information next week about sponsorships. Imaginative problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration at its finest! 5th-grade theater ended the quarter by creating Fairytale Shadow Puppet Shows!
