
Happy Hanukkah! Students in Ms. Maldonado's class learned how to play dreidel. Dreidel is a game using a small four-sided spinning top with a Hebrew letter on each side.

All of our 5th graders had a reflection lesson with the educators from Sunship Earth last Friday. Thank you to the Sunship Earth Team for all of their help with the students. It was a memorable educational experience for them!

Our 5th graders are participating in NaNoWriMo this month. Through NaNoWriMo, our 5th graders will write a novel! They track their progress, set milestones, connect with other writers, and of course- write a novel!

Our 5th graders have loved going to Sunship Earth this year! Our last group of students will travel to Sunship Earth this weekend!





Our Junior Beta Club had their induction ceremony on Wednesday. Thank you to Ms. Hardy- Young for sponsoring this club with our students.


Our Spirit Assembly on Nov. 17 was extra fun! The students competed in a grocery shopping competition in which they needed to create a shopping list by solving letter puzzles. Everyone loved the tiny shopping carts and food models - it was a huge success!

Junior Beta Club members volunteered at Grace at Greenlight this past weekend. Way to go, Lions!


Three of our 7th graders participated in the Division 2 State Championships for our Varsity swim team! We are thrilled that Willow's team scored 2nd place overall
We are SO PROUD of our 7th graders - these are 12-year-olds competing against high schools across the state. Great job and a huge thank you to Coach Archer and Goodwin for their leadership of a fantastic swim season!



Today, our 7th graders meet with the staff of the high school Certificate of Artistry program to learn more about high school CA program. The students learned about the 8th grade foundations classes that build into the CA program.





The Scholastic Book Fair books have arrived! Ms. Barrios is working on getting the inventory ready for the Book Fair. The Book Fair will start on December 4th.
