Willow Middle School Principal Ms. Henry attended Morning Meeting at the Lower School on Wednesday to welcome the rising 5th graders to the middle school campus. One of our 6th graders also gave a wonderful welcome speech to the students.


Amazing! Students in Ms Maldonado's class participated in the Socratic Seminar about universal themes presented in a Midsummer Night’s Dream.


Bravo to Mr. Hart's Symphonic Band students! Band students in grades 5 - 7 had an amazing concert for families and friends on May 8. We LOVE to hear the students perform.

Arts Fest was celebrated on Thursday. During Arts Fest, our 7th grade students shared many of the projects and performances that they have learned during their exploratory classes this year.




Our students participating in Girls on the Run are getting ready for their 5K. Their 5K will be held on May 18th!

Students in Ms. Ary's 6th grade class are working on their final project related to Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. These students decided to share their project in costumes related to A Midsummer Night's Dream!

Last Friday, our 7th grade student went on a special field trip to Game On. They had a blast!




Our No Place for Hate Student Committee held an Art and Poetry contest this year. Their contest was centered on the theme "What does No Place for Hate feel like to you?" We are very impressed with the amazing artwork created by our students for the contest!

During Teacher Appreciation Week, we highlight the support we receive from our staff members. One student created a "thank you" picture for Ms. Prince, our security guard. We sincerely appreciate our amazing staff!
Last Wednesday, Henry Sims shot a 43 in the NOAL Golf Championships. Out of 30 of the top golfers from league schools, he placed 6th overall!! Way to go, Henry!

At Morning Meeting, our librarian Ms. Barrios chose the final winners of the library raffle prizes. Students who checked out library books and write reviews were entered into a raffle for Girl Scout cookies.

Today, we had another successful bake sale from the Beta Club. All proceeds from the Beta Club will be donated to Children's Hospital. Thank you for supporting our Beta Club in their community service projects!
Please vote for My-Anh Holmes to win high school Athlete of the Week. Willow tennis two-time state champion singles tennis player who won the Division II finals. Her combined efforts with younger sister My-Linh Holmes helped Willow win the team state championship. Please ask family and friends to vote, as well.

Isaiah Felix participated in the 2024 National Elementary Chess Championship in Columbus Ohio from 4/26 - 4/28. He had a great time and finished in the top 20 for his section, earning himself a medal. He is going to go to the middle school nationals in 2 weeks and is hoping he can do well there as well. Way to go, Isaiah!

Today, we recognized our 5/6 baseball team on winning their championship game last night. Morning Meeting was filled with cheers for our baseball players. Go Lions!
