In Ms. Thierry's 6th grade social studies class, students worked in groups to create epitaphs for European explorers! Students are researching the explorers who sailed to the Americas and creating epitaphs that include short raps about their lives. This is a concluding activity as we transition to learning about American colonies.

We are re-sharing the sad news that Willow security officer Timothy Holmes died over the summer. Some parents missed the message we sent in July and have asked about him. Mr. Holmes helped keep carpool lines safe at the corner of Nashville and Loyola avenues each morning. He also helped keep our community safe during games and community events. We are grateful for his protection and service. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time. He will be missed.
